Stories give you insight into the lives of others, allow you to travel to different places and learn about situations you might otherwise never experience.
Perhaps it’s no surprise with my love of stories and people that I have worked as an English teacher and educational leader for over 17 years, with experience of pastoral and curriculum leader roles in the UK and internationally. I'm currently back in the UK, owning my story!
Connecting with students and colleagues and hearing their stories always helps create the essential relationships that bring out the very best in individuals and teams. As Head of Faculty and part of the extended senior leadership team, leading a large team across three different departments, I was trained as a coach and introduced to the world of positive psychology and positive education, seeing first hand the amazing impact that coaching and positive psychology could have on individuals, teams and an organisation.
Completing an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology complemented my MA in Education and has ensured that my work with educators and in educational settings is supported by evidence-based research and a track record of effectiveness. It’s also connected me to incredible people who also want to see individuals, communities and organisations flourish. And now I’m in the very best position to help you with your journey.
